Highway D2

(Slovak: diaľnice D2) - highway in western S lovakia, which is a part of the international route E65. Arose in the time of Czechoslovakia in the years 1962-1980 as a single hi ghway D2 with a total length of 141 km. Currently, 80 km of this road belongs to Slovakia and 61 km from the Czech Republic. Starts at the former border crossing Brodské - Breclav on the Czech-Slovak border, where it connects with the Czech motorway D2. It runs south through Malacky to Bratislava, where it ends at the former border crossing Bratislava-Čunovo - Rajka on the border with Hungary.
